Everyone is written into the Book of Life from the beginning by default. Whether or not they remain there by the Last Judgement is the question.
This is, as it were, the reverse-side of the Baptism in the history of salvation. To explain: The baptism is additive; the Book of Life is subtractive. The Holy Shroud of Turin (as a photographic negative) is a reflection of this.
When Our Lord founded His Church upon His Death and Resurrection and the Pentecost, there was no reference to the Book of Life. Everyone who is to be saved through the Church was already in the Book of Life and would remain there provided they did not apostatize. "Outside of the Church there is no salvation" - Council of Florence.
The flip-side of this, pertaining to the Book of Life alone, is "Inside the Book of Life there is no damnation". With the Church, 'salvation' is understood to mean 'going to Heaven; with the Book of Life, non-condemnation means going to the 'new earth' (Apoc. 21-22). (See Two Timelines Of Apocalypse (Part Three), especially Sections VIII and IX).
As long as the Book remained Sealed, it had no effect whatsoever on the history of salvation. But when it is unsealed, it is 'in operation'. The peril for the world today is letting themselves be deceived by the 'man of sin' (2 Thess. 2:3-11). Then, they will lose their place in the Book of Life (Apoc. 13:8, 17:8). The opening of the seals up until this point is described in The Four Living Creatures And The Seals and The Last Three Seals In Our Time.
We think it was Heaven's intention that the Book of Life, merited by Our Lord Jesus Christ, should be unsealed. However, it was not a guarantee; it was conditional. That is why there are Two Timelines of the Apocalypse, leading to one conclusion or the other. In only one of these will the Book of Life be unsealed. The peril for many was that it might not be unsealed. Now, the peril for many is that it will be. There paradox of this choice and why the Apocalypse is the way that it is (mysterious and impenetrable) is the main subject of Two Timelines Of Apocalypse (Part Three). The consequences of this is explored somewhat therein.
Regarding today's Apostasy, if it were not for the Book of Life, most souls would definitely be lost. But with the Book, there is a chance for them to avoid the worst.
Some may think we are discounting sin, as though it is of no importance. That is not the case, but the main focus on these times is whether one places importance on the truth or not. One's sins will contribute to one's blindness in this regard. One's disdain for the truth will certainly increase the likelihood of sin, and not only through the weakness of Original Sin.
The whole history of Catholic prophecy was of the expectation that the first of the two timelines was going to be fulfilled *** (see Two Timelines Of Apocalypse (Part One) and (Part Two)). When Our Lady of Fatima came to Portugal in 1917, both timelines were opened up. Fatima is the entry-point for the fulfillment of Apocalypse in full.
When Pius XII did not consecrate Russia together with the bishops of the world according to Our Lady of Fatima, the second timeline had almost begun; it had definitely begun with the 'taking away of the papacy' (2 Thess. 2:7) and the establishment of the antipapacy in its place. (See The Faith Undermined (1958-1965) and The Siri Thesis: Sede Vacante Or 'Sede Remota' ?). The paradox is that this is what was supposed to happen so that the second timeline, leading to the Book of Life's unsealing, can be fulfilled.
This whole examination of the Apocalypse is meant to find the answers to its mystery. It is yet to be confirmed, true or not. However, there is an answer for all those who never had the chance to know the truth, and for those agaimst whome the odds were stacked, so that no one is created who is destined for hell, as Calvinism suggests. Neither is it a claim for 'universal salvation', as there must be justice for works of evil. However, it can be said that "the odds will be even"; and all will have a better chance at the Last Judgement than if the Book of Life had never been unsealed (Apoc 20:11-15). For if the second timeline had never come to pass, neither would most of the Apocalypse (Apoc. 10:8-10).
For obvious reasons, nothing could really be said about the Book of Life until it was time; the devil would have taken steps to ensure it was never opened. Thus, the whole history of salvation operated as though it did not exist; and for all intents and purposes, it did not. However, the Passion of the Church still must continue to the end for all to be completed (see Third Secret Martyrdom Vision And Apocalypse 14 and 2 Thessalonians Chapter 2 And The Signing Of The Elect).
No prayers, true Masses or graces are wasted; today in particular they are needed to lead people away from the 'man of sin'.
*** By now many have heard of the vaunted "Great Reset" which is part of the aim of the globalists when building their kingdom of the antichrist. We think there is a kind of 'Reset' coming, although it will not be what they think it is. In loose connection with the 'Two Timelines' theory we think that, as all of Catholic prophetic history seemed to concern the first timeline only, when near the end it shifted to the second, there was a kind of 'reset'. However, it is not easy to define exactly what happened. The short answer is that everything we thought we knew about these times is wrong. Not that Catholic prophecy was wrong, but that until Fatima, everything pointed to the first timeline only. We think this happened not to confound us, but to confound the devil. As we said earlier in this note, "the odds will be even".
There are usually parallels between one thing
and another in all this, although it is not always readily apparent, at
least not at first. For instance, we see the modern-day antichurch built
upon Vatican '2' and nothing else (although it is built from the
Church which previously inhered therein, but as of a departure, not
continuity); in an odd way, the 'two timelines' scenario is similar, in
that everything we thought we knew concerning the end-times was
predicated upon the first timeline's fulfillment. We do not mean
to do as Vatican '2' and say that everything we believed previously
concerning the last times is of no use; on the contrary, the second
timeline can be understood only when the first has 'passed away' (not
'come to pass'). It is the contrast between the two scenarios which
sheds light on the second and actual timeline. (Discussed in footnote
89A here; [Two Timelines, Part 3, Section VIII]).
