A comment on this Novus Ordo Watch article: Leo XIV’s Strange New Pastoral Staff: Bent Cross with Ascending Christ ‘No Longer Bound By the Nails of the Passion’!
~ Weighing in on this...I got nothing. I like the term "Ascendifix" for this novelty though.
On second thought, this might be related to what I might call "Schrödinger's Original Sin". It is there and not there at the same time, as we see with this novelty, which can be interpreted as though this figure, ostensibly Christ (or the idea formerly of Him), arose as though still suffering because it did not come from Original Sin but from mere existence (and therefore from God), but having risen the figure finds that the cross was merely an optional form of 'ascending to his destiny' (lower-case 'his' because this figure theoretically represents anyone without regard to sex, which isn't important in the believe system represented by this totem).
By "Schrödinger's Original Sin", to return to the point, this figure represents as it were the effects of Original Sin without the cause, hence it is 'there and not there'. ~

[To explain: The errors of Teilhard de Chardin seems to be manifest in this figure. His errors can be summarized by saying that mankind is 'evolving' into a higher form represented by Christ. This is why the crucifix is transfigured here not to represent the Redemption but instead the suffering underwent by mankind during this process.]
5. Psyops And The Blind: Dec.23/25
This is a discussion in YouTube comments under the video on the greatest psyops of our time: The 3 Biggest Psyops Happening Right Now!:

When the common cold is relabeled and turned into a weapon, we don’t have COVID, we have a psyop.

@Scott-w7c
When a book says if you do not believe a virgin can give birth and that a human sacrifice is the answer your eternal soul is damned? You have a psyop.
[That is where it began. Let us see where it will go:]
@cairsahrstjoseph996 (to @Scott-w7c)
There is an irony that people argue against the Resurrection (including their own) by calling it a psyop. But then, no one is forced to believe. Those same people will say that people were forced to believe, but then they believe what they want to believe. In far too many cases, it is because they want to believe in their sins.
@davidalbright7335 (to @Scott-w7c)
history and personal accounts argue your position.
@Scott-w7c (to @cairsahrstjoseph996)
Not sure where the irony is. Religion, not just your religion, meets the defining characteristics of a Psyop minus the overt political portion.

[At this point we would add the observation of a peculiar characteristic of the modern liar: We call it the 'contraction of reality' as they appear unable to see that certain things exist. Borders are a prime example; this 'nullifying' of that which they do not agree with is a diminution of reality; and, whether or no they realize it, of their own intelligence.]
@cairsahrstjoseph996 (to @Scott-w7c) Saying that my religion "meets the characteristics of a psyop" is itself a psyop, in order to elicit a similar kind of behavioural change, except this time away from a religious mindset. This is sin enabling. It makes people think "it is ok to sin, for religion is but a psyop". Then, people have no problem consenting to abortion, then later consenting to the globalism no one voted for, because there are no souls to mind, thanks to the psyop. The thing is, we are free to choose whether to believe in a behaviour change which gives better virtue (self denial and patience for example) which comes only from religion. Otherwise, it can come about only through force, in what people love to call "fascist" as though they know the meaning of the word.
[Looking back, we could have refined this answer but it was done very quickly. It was too quick to refer to his position as a 'psyop', but I was referring to the overarching narrative of the 'operation of error' which makes disbelief in the supernatural to be the default, intelligent and 'rational' position. That is a psyop, dating back from the theory of evolution in particular.]
4. Schrödinger Strikes Again: Dec.17/25
This very interesting article on Formal Cause formalized an idea which had lately been developing. We had to apply this comment afterwards as a follow-up:
Very interesting; I've never seen it put quite that way. Reminds me of Aquinas. The "Schrödinger's cat" thought experiment, which I've found very useful, also applies to the theory of evolution: Their theory posits the -effect- of a Creator (order in the universe according to a design) without an actual Creator; so in effect, for them, God exists and doesn't exist at the same time, and only insofar as is necessary for the universe to exist without Him. I have to write this down.
...
That is to say, His -effect- exists without Him, according to evolutionism.
3. The Status Of The Four Horsemen: Dec.06/25
In The Four Living Creatures And The Seals we saw the emergence of various influences or 'movements' in the world. The Horsemen, each arriving with the opening of the first four seals, represent long-term influences in the world which are leading towards the establishment of the kingdom of the antichrist. The first (1941) was the United States waging wars in various parts of the world ever since WW2; the second (1949) was Communist Russia beginning the Cold War and gaining nuclear capability; the third was the establishment of what would become the European Union, signed in 1957; the fourth was the official promulgation of Vatican '2' in 1965.
Now, sixty years later (eighty-four years after the first), we are seeing these influences seemingly having run their course: The United States is barely a nation and seems a shadow of its former self; Russia could have easily won the Ukraine 'war' in the first two weeks but refuses to do so; the European Union begins to unravel as the people increasingly object to being invaded; and the Vatican '2' church is shrinking as it increasingly consolidates dioceses and closes churches while they attempt to fuse with other schismatic sects such as the Eastern Orthodox and various Protestant denominations.
We think that none of these influences may altogether cease before the events of Apocalypse chapter thirteen commence. We also think that their influences will be combined under the auspices of the 'beast' of chapter thirteen.
